Tunisian women call on human rights organizations to intervene urgently "Our lives have become hell because of government publication"

On Sunday, July 28, 2019, a number of veiled Tunisian women called on national and international human rights organizations to immediately and urgently intervene to stop the publication of the government’s masquerade, which prohibited them from doing so their work and studies because they exercised their right to freedom of clothing. Which was guaranteed by the 2014 Constitution.

Mariam, 19, told Essada that her life had became unbearable. Her career completely collapsed, calling on the Tunisian government to retract it immediately, comparing it to the “108” publication of the 90s of the last century, which was a nightmare for life in Tunisia.
